Core Value: Introspection
Introspection is an incredible foundation for spiritual practitioners. The Oxford definition of introspection is “the examination or observation of one's own mental and emotional processes.” To practice introspection, individuals might meditate or engage in readings such as tarot, oracle, aura, or palm readings. Participating in these activities creates opportunities to reflect on emotions, behaviors, and situations. Asking thoughtful questions during readings can open a space for examining feelings and events from a different perspective.
Using tools and alternative perspectives to understand how you feel about something—and how to move forward—can make complex situations easier to interpret. It’s common to get caught up in emotions, relationships, or the belief that we are always right. However, readings can help reveal a fuller story and the external factors that might be influencing a situation.
Looking specifically at Dianne from Sister Earth Creations, she has spent over 30 years cultivating the art of introspection. During meditations, she reflects deeply on her own emotions and energy. By dedicating over two hours a day to this practice, Dianne was able to create her own oracle deck. Her work extends to helping others through meditation and providing readings that are uninfluenced by her clients’ own narratives or preconceptions. This intentional structure ensures her clients receive guidance that is unbiased, allowing them to shift their perspective and better understand their purpose.
